Taylor grew up in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, and started playing soccer at age five. She played for Hawaii Surf, the Region IV ODP Team, and San Diego Surf ECNL. As a sophomore in High School, she committed to play Division I for the University of Oregon. One of her favorite memories as a Duck is scoring the game‑winning goal against Boise State with her very first touch in a collegiate match. During her time at Oregon, she embraced the full student‑athlete lifestyle, earning Pac‑12 All‑American honors (2x) and graduating at the top of her Business Honors cohort with summa cum laude honors.
Today, Taylor works at Nike which is a representation of her passion for sport. Off the field, she loves spending time with her family, friends, and her pup, Milly. She’s happiest outdoors: traveling, hiking, swimming, kayaking, and skiing. She also has fully embraced pickleball as her go‑to competitive outlet.
COACHING
Taylor’s coaching style is grounded in her motto: “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” She focuses on building strong technical fundamentals to build confidence and enable creativity. Her approach helps players learn a skill, refine it with repetition, and then practice it in game‑like scenarios to build instinct and improve decision-making. Her goal always is to create an environment where athletes feel supported, challenged, and motivated to grow.
